First United Baptist Church - Capitals (Fall 2019)
We had the opportunity to replace the capitals on the 192 year old First United Baptist Church, in Historic Lowell, Massachusetts. Work stared fall of 2019 with a call from the church, who had seen our restorative work at the Historic Porter Hall, and wanted us to perform the work on their church. After a few site visits we finalized the project and began moving forward. We arrived to remove the old capitals and trim for the bases late September, and got them ordered promptly afterwards. Upon arrival at our shop, we prepped the new capitals for a smooth clean install and on the second week of December, we were down in Lowell for a flawless install of both base trim and capitals.
